Zone 10

Another fine palm from Madagascar, the Teddy Bear is a zone 10 tropical rated at about 30 feet. It's name comes from the brown fuzzy crownshaft which looks like a child's toy bear.

Not fussy for soil, but added water is required. It's fronds are bright green and grows medium fast.

Use this fine palm where medium height is required. Plant it where you can see the "fuzz" as well as the nice rings it develops on its trunk.
