Zone 10 and Indoors

Spider plants are herbaceous perennials from South Africa and not really vines

Popular for ease of ownership, the plant usually is variegated with leaves in bunches. The plant produces plantlets at the end of stolons which, if they touch soil, will root and grow. For this reason they can be used as a type of ground cover

Best for pots and hanging baskets, Spider Plant likes partial shade, coarse organic soil and moderate to low water. Feed moderately
